Commitment and accountability are two of the core processes required for change in the coaching process. To ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients and maintain the integrity of our services, we have implemented a policy regarding non-refundable coaching sessions.
1. Understanding Non-Refundable Sessions:
Non-refundable coaching sessions and workshops are those for which payment has been made in advance, and the time has been reserved for the client. Once a coaching session or workshop is scheduled and paid for, the client is committed to attending that session or hosting the the workshop, and the payment is considered non-refundable.
2. Rationale for Non-Refundable Sessions:
Coaching is a collaborative process that requires both the coach and the client to invest time, effort, and resources. When a client books a coaching session, they are not only reserving the coach's time but also making a commitment to their personal growth and development.
Non-refundable sessions encourage clients to honor their commitments, stay engaged in the coaching process, and take responsibility for their progress. This policy also helps us effectively manage our schedule and allocate resources to support our clients' needs.
3. Flexibility and Rescheduling:
While coaching sessions or workshops are non-refundable, we understand that unexpected circumstances may arise that require rescheduling. Clients are allowed to reschedule their sessions and workshop, subject to availability, at no extra cost if a request is made within a reasonable timeframe. All private coaching sessions must be canceled 24 hours prior or they will be considered charged. Workshop events must be canceled one week in advance or they will be considered charged.
We value open communication with our clients and strive to accommodate reasonable requests for rescheduling whenever possible. However, repeated last-minute cancellations or rescheduling may be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
4. Exceptions to the Policy:
Exceptions to the non-refundable sessions policy may be made in cases of documented emergencies or extenuating circumstances beyond the client's control. We understand that unforeseen events can occur, and we are committed to working with clients to find mutually satisfactory solutions. For workshops, exceptions to the cancelation policy are this will be what are deemed “acts of god” that affect the workshop event space and are out of the organizers ability to control.
5. Client Responsibility:
Clients are responsible for managing their schedules and ensuring they are available for their coaching sessions at the agreed-upon times. It is essential to communicate any scheduling conflicts or challenges promptly to avoid missed sessions and potential inconvenience. For client’s utilizing online coaching, via Zoom, they are responsible to make sure their computer has the necessary capabilities to connect and to test these abilities prior to the scheduled appointment.
6. Clarification and Agreement:
Before commencing coaching services, clients are informed of our non-refundable sessions policy and are required to acknowledge their understanding and agreement to this policy. This ensures clarity and transparency regarding our terms and conditions from the outset of the coaching relationship.
